This build is a pair of very contemporary town houses. Due to the shape and positions of the windows the project necessitated a steel frame that was bolted to the foundations. SIPs panels were then used to fill in the framework, as well as custom panels for the facetted wall sections.
Timings where absolutely critical so that we could work within the main contractor’s overall build schedule. The site was also very tight for access, storage and moving of any plant. Despite this the pair of homes where completed in less than 2 weeks.
Since the completion the project and architect has won an award for the build.
